Questions people ask first

Can a Class 12 student join IIT Delhi without JEE?

Yes, through UCEED for the B.Des programme. Students from Science, Commerce and Arts can apply. B.Tech seats are still allotted through JEE Advanced and JoSAA.

Can I do a Ph.D. at IIT Delhi without GATE?

If you hold a four-year B.Tech or B.E. from a Centrally Funded Technical Institution with CGPA 8.0 or higher, you can be shortlisted for interview without a GATE score. Each department sets its final criteria.

Is the DMS MBA a regular IIT Delhi degree?

Yes. It is a full-time degree from the Department of Management Studies, with admission through CAT followed by the department's selection process.

Do CEP certificates carry degree status?

No. They recognise completed executive training. If you need a degree, look at e-Vidya or a regular masters route.

Is IIT Delhi without JEE worth it?

It depends on the route. UCEED, CAT, IIT JAM and GATE lead to regular IIT Delhi degrees. CEP certificates do not, so choose based on the credential you need.

Which non-JEE route is easiest?

None is easy. Each has its own exam and competition. e-Vidya and CEP have no entrance exam but are aimed at working professionals and carry different credentials.
